Are you a passionate Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work within the Supported Living Service based in Guildford.

Pay Rates: £13.21- £16.21 per hour Umbrella 

Information on the Role: Successful candidates will be offered Monday - Friday 09:00AM- 5:00PM - 37.5hrs

What you will be doing:

  • Support customers using psychologically informed and trauma-informed approaches to promote independence.
  • Co-produce support plans with customers and relevant stakeholders to help sustain tenancies.
  • Lead and participate in regular reviews of support and risk plans, especially after incidents or changes in circumstances.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, tenancy-related matters, and developing independent living skills.
  • Promote and support access to employment, education, and training opportunities.
  • Prepare customers in temporary accommodation to be tenancy-ready and support successful move-on.
  • Signpost to external services such as food banks, community resources, and specialist support.
  • Support financial independence through budgeting, income maximisation, and debt advice referrals.
  • Monitor and support healthcare needs, encouraging engagement with health professionals.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate, strengths-based records on the appropriate digital platform.
  • Facilitate referrals into the service and assess new customers.
  • Work with housing providers to identify suitable accommodation and support tenancy setup.
  • Provide tenancy-related advice and early intervention to prevent issues from escalating.
  • Advocate on behalf of customers and liaise with local partners to ensure holistic support.
  • Work flexibly, including outside normal office hours, and travel within a designated area.
  • Use lone working systems when required.
  • Attend team meetings, supervisions, and training as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as required by the service.
