m2r Education are working with a London based company who offer educational and cultural experiences individuals in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Malta, the USA, and Canada.

One of their services is an international English language skills competition for students from 9 to 16 years old. These consist of virtual and global finals, with the next round being held at Surrey University on the 24th June.

Students travel to one of our venues around the world for an eight-day trip, covering four competitions: Persuasive Speaking, the Writing Challenge, the Knowledge Quiz, and the Spelling Bee, as well as two optional competitions in Short Film and the Talent Show.  

They require 15 judges with a background in English language instruction, to act as judges for the day. You will be required to judge the following:

Persuasive Speaking Writing Challenge Knowledge quiz Spelling bee, Plus two optional competitions in Short Film and the Talent Show.  

Judging will take place via and app and full training will be provided and you will need to be on site from 8am to 4pm. Should this run over, you will be compensated at the agreed rate.

Experience  / Qualifications:

  • English language teaching qualification.
  • UK right to work / UK passport holder.
  • Experience of working with teenagers would be advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS (We can provide this if required).
