Vehicle Technician

Location: Guildford Salary: 28,000 - 38,000 + Bonus (DOE) Employment Type: Full-time

A leading main dealer in Guildford is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its team. Specialising in a brand known for efficiency, safety, and style, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with structured training, career progression, and ongoing development.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using advanced diagnostic equipment

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, tire replacements, and engine repairs

• Carry out servicing procedures to meet manufacturer specifications and legal standards

• Engage with customers, explaining repair needs and costs clearly

• Ensure quality control, following industry safety and repair guidelines

• Maintain detailed records of completed work, parts used, and time spent

• Stay up to date with new technologies, vehicle models, and repair techniques through ongoing training

• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to maintain smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

• Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics

• Ideally Level 3 qualified in vehicle maintenance

• MOT Testing Licence highly desirable

• Full valid UK driving licence

• A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
