Animal Management Teacher - GuildfordFull-Time | Permanent | Start: August 2025Salary: £30,180 - £42,182 per annumAre you passionate about animal science and ready to inspire the next generation of animal management professionals?We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Animal Management Teacher to join an experienced teaching team at a beautiful college in Guildford. In this role, you'll be delivering high-quality education and training to students on T-Level Animal Management courses, with the potential to progress into a Programme Manager position.Why This Role?You'll be working within a state-of-the-art £4 million Animal Management Centre, set on a stunning 400-acre estate that houses a wide range of species. Our campus has a strong national and international reputation in land-based education and maintains excellent links with employers and industry experts.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring lessons to T-Level Animal Management students.
  • Contribute to raising teaching and learning standards, aligned with organisational strategic goals.
  • Engage students of all levels, including those with special educational needs.
  • Support global study tours and access professional development opportunities.
  • Step into a leadership role as a Programme Manager, depending on experience and interest.

What You'll Need:

  • A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in a relevant subject such as animal science, animal management, microbiology, or biochemistry.
  • A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience working in laboratory environments.
  • Ideally, experience teaching in Further Education and delivering T-Level qualifications.
  • A positive, engaging approach to teaching and a passion for student success.
