My client based in Guisborough is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their well-established group of companies operating across a range of sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a varied role within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering and matching purchase invoices using Sage
  • Resolving invoice queries promptly
  • Entering payments via the company banking system
  • Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Sending remittance advices to suppliers
  • Setting up supplier and customer accounts in Sage
  • Maintaining organised and up-to-date filing systems
  • Accounts and payroll accross both companies
  • Reconciling credit card transactions and managing the accounts inbox
  • Preparing monthly payment runs and processing supplier payments
  • Conducting regular bank reconciliations
  • Supporting the Financial Lead with ad hoc finance tasks
  • Produce reports for higher management and sponsors from information supplied by the hospitality team

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Previous experience using Sage Accounts and Microsoft Excel is preferred

Additional information:

  • Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Location: Guisborough
  • Full time (40 hour working week), can offer Part-time for the right candidate
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
