My client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Field Sales Representative to help grow their presence within the petrochemical sector. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll be out in the field identifying new opportunities and securing business across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek out and develop new business opportunities
- Carry out regular site visits and sales outreach to connect with prospective clients
- Build strong relationships with engineers, contractors, project managers, and procurement professionals
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to tender follow-ups and technical queries
- Work closely with internal teams
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events
- Keep CRM systems up to date and provide regular sales reports and forecasts
Who We’re Looking For
- A strong background in B2B sales—ideally within technical or industrial sectors
- A solid understanding of the petrochemical industry and how its procurement processes work
- Proven experience in building and maintaining long-term business relationships
- A useful network of contacts within the UK petrochemical sector would be a big plus
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly and persuasively
- Self-driven and motivated, but also a team player who works well with others
