Production Operatives needed
SureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit Production Operatives, for our client based in Ripon area (Bedale DL8 and Melmerby HG4). Our client specialises in bringing unique, high-protein food products to major UK supermarkets.
This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible work, with shifts offered weekly to fit around your existing commitments. Opportunities may range from a single 8-hour shift to full-time availability (Monday to Friday).
Ideal candidate for a Production Operatives role will have:
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle essential, due to the need to travel between both sites
- Previous experience within a fast moving environment
- Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery
- Basic math skills (measuring and calculating quantities)
- Understanding of HACCP principles and food production standards
Responsibilities and Duties of a Production Operatives
- Operate machinery and equipment in a factory setting
- Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety guidelines
- Monitor production for efficiency and quality
- Conduct quality checks on finished goods
- Package and label products for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
Shift times for a Production Operatives:
- Monday to Friday, day shifts
- 8 hours shift
- 1-5 days per week
- Overtime and weekend available
Pay Rates for Production Operatives:
- 13.00/ hour
