SF Recruitment are working with a highly respected and well-established privately-owned group within the distribution sector to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad and commercially impactful role within a group that has grown steadily through a portfolio of successful subsidiary businesses.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, FP&A, process improvement, and business partnering with senior stakeholders across the group. This role would suit somebody looking for their first move from practice to industry or someone with experience in a similar role, you must be a qualified accountant. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce timely and accurate management accounts in line with group reporting deadlines

  • Collaborate with the SLT to review financial performance, analyse margins and costs, and support commercial decision-making

  • Consolidate and report on results, forecasts, actuals, and budgets, providing insightful commentary on key metrics

  • Contribute to ERP transformation and help standardise financial processes across the group, including documentation and internal controls

About You:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified 

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites

  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Dynamics
