Technical Service Administrator
  • Annual Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 - negotiable based on experience, knowledge, and ability. 
  • Hours of work:  37.5 hours a week, 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.  This is an office-based role.

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Technical Service Administrator to join a global manufacturing business renowned for its excellent reputation within its field. This role is based in a friendly service team and is ideal for someone looking for a short commute in Halesowen.

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the Technical Department. Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support to internal and external customers via the telephone, fax, letter and email.  
  • Efficient production of NBS specifications, keeping statistical records of the recommendation requests received across the department.
  • Update and create CRM opportunities,
  • Inputting and following the customer complaints process,
  • Supporting the external sales team,
  • Carrying out general office duties. 

The successful candidate;

  • Will have strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in document control and compliance tracking. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast past environment
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, organized, an eye for detail, diplomatic, ability to problem-solve, positive and mature outlook, reliable, trustworthy. 
  • Well presented, have a professional attitude and be a team player with good leadership qualities.  

Essential:     

GCSE level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English

RSA Level 2 typing/word processing or equivalent;

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office ie Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint;

Proven experience in an administrative role of minimum 3 years is beneficial

Previous experience of liaising with internal and external customers.
