Location: Halesowen, Birmingham
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday office Hours
We are working with a leading logistics company looking for a Transport Manager to join their growing domestic business in Halesowen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, experienced transport professional to take ownership of a fleet currently numbering 7-10 trucks, with plans to expand up to 30 vehicles. As the business grows, so will your opportunities to make a real impact and develop your team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the transport operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance
Oversee a small planning team (3 people) and provide hands-on guidance to improve planning processes
Ensure the fleet is maintained, compliant, and utilised effectively
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance
Implement improvements and contribute to growth plans as the domestic business expands
Ideal Candidate
CPC holder (mandatory)
Experience managing a fleet of 7-30 vehicles in a similar logistics environment
Strong planning and operational expertise
Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
Hands-on approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Package & Benefits
