We recruiting for a Good In/Out Operative : Temp to Perm position

For this role you must have a in-date :

  • Forklift Counterbalance license and 2+ years of Goods In experience*
  • Full UK Driving Licence and your own car
  • Experienced in the production & warehouse environment

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday : 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am to 12pm = 36 hr week

Rate of Pay: £12.95 - £13.50 per hour ( Depending on Experience)

Duties of the Role:

> Receiving goods in/out

> Booking onto Factory/Production system [use of computers/systems].

> Stock movement [use of FLT Counterbalance - small amount of FLT work]

> Ensuring stores and the yards is place and kept in a good and tidy manner.

> Working within a small team to ensure stock is delivered to production team.

> Finished and assembled stock, placed into warehouse and use of computer to ensure locations are logged.

> Stock picking and packing [both manually and using FLT]

> Working with Production team to ensure stock is located, picked, quality checked and dispatched efficiently.

> Loading and unloading HGV - using FLT counterbalance.

Requirements / Experience

  • Previous experience in a Production & Waterhouse environment is essential.
  • Ability work both on and off the Forklift truck
  • Valid and in-date FLT Counterbalance license.
  • Experienced using FLT Counterbalance and maintaining the Forklift checks
  • Full UK Driving Licence to Drive
  • Good Computer skills , use the software read orders and create Delivery notes etc...
  • Able to pick and pack stock efficiently and accurately.
  • Load & unload vehicles
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment
  • Experience in shipping and receiving processes is desirable
  • Ability to perform lifting regularly throughout the shift
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
