JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a brilliant company in Halifax as they look to recruit a permanent Financial Controller offering reduced/part time hours. This is a key role within the organisation, having full control of the finance function and working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of P&L results and annual reports adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provision of financial, commercial and strategic support
  • Manage annual budgeting process
  • Prepare regular cashflow forecasts
  • Key point of contact for external auditors and banking relationships
  • Manage Accounts Assistant and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
  • Prepare VAT return
  • Prepare payroll information for submission to external provider

Applicants must have strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
