Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer, they are recruiting for a Machine Operative / Manufacturing Machine Operator to join their team.  As a Machine Operative, you will safely operate production line machinery, and load machines with materials.

NOTE - This is an ongoing, rolling temporary contract, with a chance to go permanent in the future.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF:

•    You have previous experience of operating manufacturing machinery in a factory / production / manufacturing environment
•    You are happy to work 2.00pm to 10.00pm (training will be day shift for the first couple weeks)

Salary:  £16.00 per hour (£13.20 basic + 17.5% shift allowance).

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday, 2.00pm – 10.00pm.

Duties:

•    Loading and off-loading the machine with sometimes heavy materials to be connected and formed by the machine.
•    To make sure machine operation is running at speeds to maximise job production, quality and accuracy.
•    Make sure that production records (quality checks, roll/box weight and quantity) are timely and accurately kept.
•    Keep machinery and your work area in clean order, and report any machinery or product faults to your supervisor for further action.
