HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Our client in Halifax is looking Refuse Collection Drivers (HGV 2). This opportunity is currently an ongoing assignment, and there will be permanent opportunities for workers that prove themselves to be reliable and have a good work ethic.

The role will be starting asap.

! ACCEPTING NEWLY QUALIFIED DRIVERS !

Duties:

• Safely operating the refuse vehicle
• Safe and considerate driving around local streets
• Driving with your loading team
• Loading where necessary

Requirements:

• Hold a valid HGV 2 driving licence.
• Hold a UK Digi Card
• Hold a UK CPC Card

Safety shoes and Hi Vis are required for all temporary workers with no set uniform required.

Pay:

• £13.96 per hour
• Overtime £17.34 per hour (every hour after completing 40 hours weekly)

The role involves working Tuesday – Friday, 06:30 start with an approximate 17:30 finish (finish time is when the job is complete).
