With a heritage of innovation and manufacturing excellence, they deliver exceptional products to clients in the KBB, furniture, retail, and construction sectors.

We are seeking a commercially astute and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee and drive business growth across key accounts, develop strategic partnerships, and lead the commercial strategy for our group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising profitability, managing customer relationships, and aligning commercial activities with the company's growth objectives and managing the Sales team to ensure continued success.

Description

  • Managing customer and supplier relationships, both existing and new.
  • Developing and executing strategies that maximise profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
  • Identifying business sales opportunities and securing new business.
  • Contract negotiation and management with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Team leadership and development within a close-knit business environment.
  • Managing a team of 4, providing mentorship, coaching and leadership to ensure continued success.
  • Developing a broad view of the business as a whole to enable a positive contribution to the continuing profitability of the company.

Profile

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on profitability, margin management, and negotiation.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or commercial roles, ideally in the wood based panel industry / KBB manufacturing sector.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
  • Relevant experience in a senior commercial or sales management role.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, furniture components, or panel products industries is highly advantageous.
