As a Site Supervisor - Highways, you will be joining a team that empowers you to take ownership, lead day-to-day activity on site, and see the results of your work improve transport links for thousands of people across West Yorkshire.
What you will be doing each day
In this Site Supervisor - Highways position, you will:
路Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
路Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials to keep activities running smoothly and on programme.
路Monitor site compliance with H&S procedures, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.
路Support the site management team with reporting, record-keeping, and project delivery requirements.
路Work across activities such as temporary traffic management, resurfacing, signal junction upgrades, signage, road lighting, minor structures, groundworks and landscaping.
路Contribute to high-quality project outcomes and help drive overall scheme performance.
What you will need to bring
You will be successful in this Site Supervisor - Highways role if you have:
路Experience working on highways or streetworks projects, including surfacing, traffic management, lighting and general civil engineering activities.
路A solid understanding of site processes, safety systems, and handover/close-out procedures.
路SSSTS (or SMSTS achieved/working towards), a valid CSCS card, and relevant highways training.
路Confident IT skills and a proactive attitude towards reporting, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
