The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Conduct high-level reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Review and analyse financial data, preparing detailed reports for management.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
Salary & Benefits
In return, the successful Finance Manager will receive the following:
- £45,000 - £50,000 base salary
- 25 days holidays
- Hybrid working patterns from the Halifax office
