We're a fast-growing industrial electrical contracting company based in Halifax, and we need a sharp, detail-driven Electrical Estimator to help us win more projects and deliver them with confidence.
What You'll Do:
- Review blueprints, specifications, and drawings for industrial electrical projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are realistic and competitive.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
- Help us secure projects by producing winning proposals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as an electrical estimator (industrial/preferred).
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices.
- Strong computer skills (estimation software, Excel, and AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is a plus).
- Detail-oriented with excellent math and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive communicator who thrives under deadlines.
