Talent-UK is seeking an experienced FLT Driver for a temporary to permanent position with a manufacturing client in Halifax.
The role involves loading/unloading vehicles, delivering packaging materials, and maintaining warehouse organization.
Candidates must have experience in warehousing, logistics, and a valid FLT Counterbalance/Reach Licence.
The starting salary is £13.06 per hour, with 38 hours of basic work and overtime available at increased rates.
Applicants should have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturing business in the Halifax area, the role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, working various shifts Monday to Friday with overtime available at uplifted rates of pay, along with ongoing training and development. Key responsibilities:

Using the FLT to load/unload vehicles in accordance with daily requirements.
Deliver all packaging materials to production lines.
Remove all excess goods from production lines when required
Pack Finished Goods ready for dispatch
Order picking with the use of handheld scanners
Ensure a high level of service for both internal and external customers.
General upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse

Experience:

Experience of working within, warehousing, logistics & stock control
Worked within a manufacturing/production environment
In date FLT Counterbalance / Reach Licence
The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

What is on offer:

Starting rate of £13.06ph
38 hours basic and overtime available at uplifted rates
Rotating 3 shifts (Earlies/Lates and Nights)
Ongoing training provided to up-skill further
