- Our client based in Halifax is seeking a FLT Counterbalance driver for a position that requires 33.6 hours of work per week.
- The role may involve working 2 consecutive weekends out of 5, with weekday shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 and weekend shifts from 06:00 to 18:00.
- Candidates should have experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with heavy lifting and counterbalance truck operation being essential.
- Good computer skills in Word and Excel, along with a degree of mechanical ability for tool use, are required for this position.
- The pay rate includes a shift allowance, and applicants must have their own transport, with prior experience preferred.
You may also be required to work 2 consecutive weekends out of 5 in accordance with the shift rota
Weekdays - 06.00-14.00, (Apply online only), (Apply online only)
Weekends - 0600-18.00 & (Apply online only)
Pay Rate includes shift allowance
Duties & Responsibilities
Working on the counterbalance truck, moving large heavy items
Working in a team
Experience of working in a production/manufacturing process
Heavy lifting is required
Good computer skills Word & Excel
Ability to work on your own when required
Assist in machinemaintenance
A degree of mechanical ability as the use of tools is required
MUST have own Transport
