Job Title: Shot Blaster Location: HX1, HalifaxRate: £13-£14 per hourType: Temp to PermHours: Mon-Thurs 6am-2.30pm (30min lunch), Fri 6am-1pm, overtime at 1.5 after completing 39 hours per week
Are you an experienced Shot Blaster looking to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for someone with your talent and expertise!
Key Responsibilities:* Blast, clean, and prepare metal surfaces accurately and efficiently* Set up and adjust blasting equipment, selecting the correct nozzles for each job* Carry out routine checks and maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly* Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards* Always follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:* Proven knowledge of shot blasting equipment, including various nozzles* Previous experience in a shot blasting role is essential* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work* Able to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work for extended periods
