Headley have a live vacancy with a Halifax engineering manufacturer who are seeking a Mechanical Fitter / Assembler.
The company are an established manufacture of process machinery and equipment and this is a new role in their Production unit.
This is a challenging role in an engineering company who manufacture a technical product range, and the job requires experience from the engineering sector.
The job is full time permanent with hours worked over 4 slightly longer days, Monday-Thursday. A 3 day weekend.
Duties to include:
- From technical drawings, build and assemble range of machinery and components
- Use of hand and power tools
- Working with colleagues in production and design/R&D
- Awareness and adherence to health & safety policies
Requirements:
- Experience in an assembly or fitting role in an engineering company
- Experience with a range of power tools in a manufacturing setting
- Able to read and understand technical information
- Close attention to detail
- Able to learn and pick up new skills
This is an interesting role to work on a range of interesting and technical components, with genuine career prospects, initially to team leader level, available.
