Resident Liaison Officer
Location: Halifax (covering HX2 & HX3)
Rate: £14 per hour + mileage and car allowance
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Start: Immediate

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Start: 13th October
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle

Our client, a leading social housing contractor is looking for a confident and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining strong communication and trust between the company and residents while planned works are carried out in their homes.

You’ll be responsible for keeping residents informed, managing access for works, handling queries, and ensuring minimal disruption. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in a similar role, and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Resident Liaison Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain regular communication with residents regarding works, schedules, and any potential disruption
  • Respond to enquiries promptly and ensure smooth access for contractors
  • Act as the key link between residents and site teams, offering support throughout the works
  • Organise and lead meetings, drop-in sessions, and engagement events
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports based on resident feedback and recurring issues

Resident Liaison Officer Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar resident-facing role, ideally in housing or construction
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally
  • Empathy, patience, and discretion in handling sensitive situations
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
