Service Care Solutions are looking for a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our clients' rehabilitation service in Halifax. If you are passionate about supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and promoting recovery, this is the perfect opportunity for you!As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll be at the heart of our clients' mission, helping service users regain independence, confidence, and a meaningful place in the community.Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire (with support across additional services in Leeds)Hours: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We’re looking for a committed and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our clients' team and play a key role in delivering personalised, recovery-focused care.�? ?? The Role
  • Deliver high-quality OT interventions that promote daily living skills and independence
  • Complete thorough assessments to identify each person’s strengths and needs
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to create tailored care plans
  • Facilitate one-to-one and group therapeutic sessions
  • Lead the development of OT practices across our services, based on clinical need
  • Travel to additional service locations as needed to provide specialist OT input
�? Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload under the supervision of the Lead OT
  • Set and evaluate clear, measurable goals for each service user
  • Promote social inclusion through meaningful, community-based activities
  • Support and mentor support staff, and supervise OT students during placements
? The Person
  • A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, including 2 years in mental health settings
  • A genuine interest in rehabilitation and empowering people to live independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid at 45p per mile)
