The Company: A highly ambitious, family-feel IFA business who are looking to recruit an Office Manager into their Halifax site, to oversee a small team of adviser support staff at both admin and paraplanner level. The role will suit someone experienced within man-management, or indeed a Senior Financial Planning Administrator with aspirations to step into a team-lead type role.

  • Office Location: Halifax
  • Working Setup: Office based – Some flex for the right person as required

Package: £34-37k base DOE bonus and full company benefits

The Role: Manage the administration function for the site on an operational level ensuring the provision of high-quality Administration Services to advisers. Further responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of Client Services team development – including coaching, mentoring and training Client Financial Planning Administrators
  • Assist with the maintaining and creating Client Services processes as required:
  • Report and new business application production
  • Online and manual new business submission
  • Valuations
  • LOA, encashments, client maintenance
  • Liaise with the paraplanning team ensuring report upload production delivered
  • Oversight of the distribution of the Client Service team workload
  • Conduct quarterly and annual 1:1 and performance reviews for the Client Services team
  • Identifying and addressing individual training and development needs
  • Implementing disciplinary procedures for if required
  • Oversee recruitment of team members
  • Collating and reporting Client Services management information

The Person: You will hold private wealth advice focused wealth management experience and have managed/supervised staff prior. Do you:

  • Hold 2+ years of industry experience in investments and pensions focused admin support; alongside system experience of Intelligent office and Dynamic Planner?
  • Bring supervisory and/or team management experience from within an IFA and/or wealth management firm?
  • Feel motivated by working in a smaller, family-feel type business setup where alongside the directors you are at the forefront of the business offering?
