About the Role:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students. You will inspire students across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 (KS3/KS4/KS5), fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and encouraging critical thinking.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, dedicated to student achievement, and ready to contribute to the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding, engaging, and well-structured lessons in Mathematics to students at KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to the varied needs of students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility
  • Foster a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves
  • Set and mark homework and assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student progress
  • Monitor student progress, provide support where needed, and communicate with parents and guardians
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department to share best practices and improve teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a passionate, professional, and creative teacher with:

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics (Degree level or equivalent)
  • A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 (although ECTs are encouraged to apply)
  • A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • A commitment to the personal and academic development of each student
