At Academics Halifax, we are currently recruiting for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of well-established secondary schools across the local area. With demand continuing to grow, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability - from daily supply and part-time work to full-time placements and permanent contracts.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students stay on task and engaged. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a background in education or teaching who enjoys working with young people and is confident in managing classrooms.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, ECT or trainee teacher
Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management skills
Able follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
Adaptability and a proactive approach
