Are you a flexible and proactive Progress Tutor/Intervention Tutor based in Halifax and available to start a new role immediately? Have you got previous experience working in SEND Provisions with Challenging Behaviours - ADHD, SEMH and Autism? Empowering Learning are working closely with a high-achieving SEMH School in HX2 who are on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Tutor to join the school on a temp to perm basis for the right candidate.

23,000 - 25,000 Annum - These roles are temp to perm for the right candidate.

Role and responsibilities:

Flexible and versatile approach to work
To deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard, ensuring students remain engaged in their lessons
Manage classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns
Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

Previous experience Tutoring in SEND Schools would be ideal, but not essential. Full training from the school is provided.
Educated to graduate level
Proactive and versatile individual
The ability to think outside-the-box, on-the-spot and use your initiative when needed
Strong communication and organisational skills
Strong behavioural management skills
