My client in the Ovenden area are looking for an experienced Plate Freeze Operative.
This is a great opportunity for individuals that are hardworking and keen to be part of an existing business that continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for production by overseeing and controlling the process and completing required checks and documentation to ensure quality and efficiency are achieved.
Work on plate freeze section where temperatures are low to -30 degrees
Support the running of production lines safely to produce top quality products.
Report safety issues
Monitoring work equipment
Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes
Perform specified cleaning tasks as per daily/monthly schedules.
Contributes to ensuring a quality product is delivered to the consumer/customer on time.
Any additional activities requested by management
Skills:
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must have experience working in an abattoir, meat processing
Ability to work quickly and methodically.
Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks.
Awareness of health and safety
Flexible approach
Experience in operating Forklift truck will be advantage
