LASER OPERATOR

SALARY UP TO £27k

PERMANENT POSITION

Our client, a well managed and run manufacturing company, has, due to continued and expected future growth,a requirement for a laser operator to join their manufacturing team.

As the successful laser operator you will......

• Set up and operate the laser cutting machines according to planned work
• Load and unload materials efficiently
• Adjust the laser parameters to accurately and efficiently run the laser machine
• Read and interpret the job details
• Verify dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect the finished parts for accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or programming issues
• Liaise with the maintenance team
• Follow all safety protocols

The successful laser operator will already have experience as a laser operator, though full training will be given. You will already have laser operations ( trumpf hopefully ), and be able to interpret documentation and drawings.

As the laser operator you will also understand and be able to use hand and power tools and have knowledge and be able to use calibration equipment.
