Our client, an engineering and manufacturing business located between Halifax and Bradford, is seeking to recruit 2 experienced Welder Fabricators for a permanent position.
Candidates must have a strong proficiency in MIG/MAG welding, with top graded welders expected to also perform TIG welding.
Experience with mild steel and carbon is essential, while familiarity with exotic materials is preferred, along with the ability to read and fabricate from technical drawings.
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from £15.90 to £19, with opportunities for progression and additional training in various Welding Codes covered by the company.
Candidates should have overhead crane experience and adhere to safety protocols while working Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

Our client, an engineering and manufacturing business, based between Halifax and Bradford, have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed Welder Fabricators.

Key Skills / Responsibilities

Must be able to MIG/MAG to a good standard. Top graded welders will be expected to able to TIG Weld

Have experience in working with Mild steel / carbon as a minimum. Top Graded welders will have experience of working with Exotic Materials

Read technical drawings to build jobs to specification

To fabricate from technical drawings.

Overhead Crane experience a benefit

Work to Quality standards set out

Possess Safe working practices

Follow safety protocol including wearing heat-resistant gloves, Overalls, Airfed protective masks, and safety shoes (all provided by the company).

There is genuine potential for progression as well as gaining various Welding Codes, all paid for by the company.

This is a permanent role whereyou will be expected to work the following hours:

Mon - Thur 7am - 3:45pm / Fri - 7am - 12pm

Overtime is also available.

The company operates a banding system based on skill level.

As part of the interview process, you will be required to carry out aweld test to ascertain your banding.

Hourly rates range from 15.90up to 19.
