Responsibilities:
- This role will ensure full responsibility of all day-to-day financial matters.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for all UK companies
- Production of monthly group consolidated management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Cash flow management including weekly rolling cash forecasts.
- Finalising weekly supplier payment runs.
- Weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
- Processing of any intercompany sales invoices.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
- Calculation of all staff bonus and commission payments.
- Preparation of year end audit file.
- Liaise with external accountants, customers, suppliers and banks as required.
- Management and development of finance team members.
- Develop and refine processes to build efficiencies within the team and its outputs.
- Assist in the development of KPI’s to manage team and business performance.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years post qualified experience ideally in a similar role.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month end.
- Experience using SAP (preferred but not essential).
