The role
Reed Practice have been selected to assist the firm with recruiting an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager to work in one of their newest regional offices.
Working with the senior management team, reporting to the Director, you will be part of a talented, motivated and welcoming team managing clients from all walk of life including HNWI’s, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
As Accounts Manager your responsibilities will include:
- As the first point of contact, managing a select portfolio of clients to ensure the full statutory and compliance needs met with support of the leadership team.
- Maintaining vigilance over the compliance work undertaken such a year-end and management accounts, VAT returns, personal and corporate tax returns.
- Assisting and advising clients and assisting Directors on occasional projects. Â Â Â Â
- Developing the client portfolio through building a network of contacts for the firm
- Take ownership of WIP and billing needs of the portfolio, working with the senior leadership team to maintain KPI’s.
- Lead, support and train staff to ensure their continued delivery of high calibre.                                          Â
Your profile:
You will be a highly experienced and qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) accountant with a career carved in practice, progressing to Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager at least.
In this time you will have assisted with , or have fully managed a book of clients, provided an exceptional level of a range of services with considerable direct interaction, which have developed your communication and organisation skills.
Salary is flexible and will reflect the breadth and depth of your knowledge.Â
