Job role: Maintenance Technician
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Overtime paid time ½
Location: Halstead, Essex
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days only 42 hour per week.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Interaction have partnered with a national, well established & growing organisation that specialise in renewable energy & are a market leader within this sector. Due to expansion, the opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to progress into a more senior role, leading a team of engineers & monitoring the PPM System.

Key Responsibility’s:
Attend & respond effectively to machinery breakdowns performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance and ensuring the planning and servicing of routine machinery maintenance is achieved.
General site maintenance
Electrical and Mechanical fault finding on plant machinery
Weekly & Monthly PPMs
Stock control regarding spare parts and machinery components, ordering the necessary parts for the plant machinery & conveyors .
Follow health & safety procedure alongside using your own initiative to work in a timely, safe manner when attending emergency breakdowns.
What will you require:
Electrical or Mechanical Bias Engineers
An understanding of PLC controls or electronics (Advantageous)
Previous experience as a maintenance engineer Ideally a minimum of 3 years
Experience within Industrial, Manufacturing, Plant or Similar
Understanding of Gearboxes, Motors, Compressors & Conveyor fault finding & repair.
Relevant Qualifications - NVQ/City & Guilds
