Are you a hands-on individual with basic welding or fabrication experience, looking to develop your skills in a well-established engineering company offering structured training, career progression, and excellent earning potential?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist in heavy structure fabrication for the transport industry. You'll receive in-house training in MIG welding and fabrication, working alongside an experienced team on large trailer builds and varied fabrication projects.

The company is committed to developing its people, offering clear career pathways and performance reviews at 3 and 6 months. As you grow your skills, you'll benefit from incremental salary increases and the opportunity to take on more responsibility.

In this role, you'll support the fabrication of heavy structures, develop MIG welding skills, and work as part of a production team delivering high-quality projects. Overtime is widely available, paid at time and a half, providing excellent earning potential.

This role would suit an enthusiastic individual with some welding or fabrication experience, or a strong interest in learning, who is looking for long-term stability, hands-on training, and the opportunity to develop into a skilled Welder.

The Role:

  • Learning and developing MIG welding and fabrication skills
  • Assisting with the manufacture of heavy structures and trailers
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM

The Person:

  • Some welding or fabrication experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Keen to learn and develop MIG welding skills
  • Commutable to Halstead
