Manufacturing / Production Shift Leader

Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer in North Lanarkshire to assist them in finding a Production Shift Leader for their Night shift team.

We're ideally seeking a candidate with similar experience in a Production / Manufacturing role. Food / FMCG manufacturing environment or a distribution / logistics environment would be ideal. 

Shifts: 

  • Nights
  • 4on, 4off
  • 18:00 - 06:00

A brief summary of your role and responsibilities:

  • Be committed and driven to succeed with experience of managing and developing a team
  • Demonstrate delivery of KPIs and be able to build strong working relationships with both your own team and across different functions.
  • Managing daily budgets, including labour and materials, and be responsible for reporting on these on a daily basis.
  • Ensure conformance to daily plans, ensuring that your area is audit and GMP compliant on a daily basis.
  • Put safety at the forefront of what you do, ensuring procedures are complied with which includes logging accidents and near misses if they happen.
  • Responsible for directly managing a team, managing headcounts, and upskilling and developing team members.
  • Oversee the absence management of your team and conduct investigations and disciplinaries where appropriate. 
  • Be your teams first point of contact and promote the company values and foster a culture of trust within the team
