Industrial Painter (Temp) - Heavy Engineering | Eurocentral, Lanarkshire

First Achieve Engineering are working in partnership with a globally recognised engineering firm with a proud 60+ year history in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge equipment used in high-performance sectors across the globe.

Due to ongoing success and increased project demand, we're looking to speak with experienced Industrial Painters to join their team at their large-scale engineering facility in Eurocentral for a temp position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing metal fabrications and components for the painting process.
  • Carrying out spray and hand painting using various finishes (including 2-pack and single pack paints).
  • Working both in a paint booth and on occasion in-situ on larger assemblies.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of spray booths and associated equipment.
  • Managing paint stock levels and liaising with the team to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with HSE standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in industrial spray and hand painting, ideally within a heavy engineering or fabrication environment.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A positive and proactive attitude toward Health & Safety procedures.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes would be advantageous.
