Our client is delivering a major fibre installation project as part of the development of a large-scale battery farm in Coalburn. We are seeking Cabling Engineers with ECS or CSCS certification. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a nationally significant infrastructure project, with a strong chance of contract extension.

The RoleYou'll be supporting the external fibre installation on-site at the new battery farm, working alongside a team to ensure the structured cabling infrastructure is delivered to high standards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Installing, terminating, and testing external fibre optic cabling systems
  • Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and industry standards
  • Following project plans and working with site teams to meet deadlines
  • Operating in compliance with all site-specific H&S regulations

Program Details:

  • Monday to Friday schedule (standard daytime hours)
  • Approximately 12-15 weeks in duration
  • Strong potential for further extension based on project phases

Requirements:

  • Valid ECS or CSCS card
  • Experience with external fibre cabling installation
  • Ability to work independently and follow on-site procedures
  • Strong awareness of site safety protocols

Desired:

  • First Aid and Manual Handling certifications
