Our client is delivering a major fibre installation project as part of the development of a large-scale battery farm in Coalburn. We are seeking Cabling Engineers with ECS or CSCS certification. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a nationally significant infrastructure project, with a strong chance of contract extension.
The RoleYou'll be supporting the external fibre installation on-site at the new battery farm, working alongside a team to ensure the structured cabling infrastructure is delivered to high standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Installing, terminating, and testing external fibre optic cabling systems
- Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and industry standards
- Following project plans and working with site teams to meet deadlines
- Operating in compliance with all site-specific H&S regulations
Program Details:
- Monday to Friday schedule (standard daytime hours)
- Approximately 12-15 weeks in duration
- Strong potential for further extension based on project phases
Requirements:
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Experience with external fibre cabling installation
- Ability to work independently and follow on-site procedures
- Strong awareness of site safety protocols
Desired:
- First Aid and Manual Handling certifications
