Production Operator, East Kilbride, £25,000 + overtime + bonus

Are you confident working with your hands and have a good eye for detail? We're recruiting for an Production Operator to join a growing manufacturer in East Kilbride. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business at the heart of global technology manufacturing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assembling small components as part of a specialised product used in high-tech industries
  • Working in a cleanroom environment with a steady and methodical approach
  • Following clear work instructions to ensure a high standard of accuracy
  • Using hand tools such as tweezers, small cutters, and (if trained) soldering equipment
  • Inspecting parts during assembly to maintain quality and consistency
  • Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting ways to streamline or enhance processes
  • Meeting production targets as part of a small, focused team
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace in line with health and safety practices

What we're looking for:

  • Some experience in hands-on assembly or production work
  • Steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Good team spirit with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Previous experience with component or fine work is an advantage (but not essential)
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and careful work style

    • Monday - Wednesday, 07:00 until 17:15
