Process Operative, East Kilbride, £24,750 + Overtime + Bonus

We're hiring a Process Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in East Kilbride. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business that supplies into a global, high-tech industry, offering long-term job security, hands-on training, and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working through a structured production process using raw materials and components
  • Following clear work instructions at each stage to ensure products are made to a high standard
  • Using hand tools and operating basic machinery (full training provided)
  • Preparing, shaping and finishing parts using manual and powered equipment
  • Handling delicate or precision-made components with care
  • Carrying out regular checks to ensure parts meet quality requirements
  • Safely loading and moving materials and products around the work area
  • Supporting a clean, organised, and safety-focused working environment
  • Reporting any issues or defects clearly to your supervisor
  • Helping with basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools

What we're looking for:

  • A careful, reliable, and process-driven approach to work
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow clear instructions
  • Experience in a hands-on, production, or process-based role is helpful
  • Comfortable working on your feet and carrying out manual tasks
  • A team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Any experience with hand tools, machinery, or quality checks is a bonus, but not essential

  • £24,750 salary + overtime
  • 4 day working week - Monday to Wednesday 07:00-17:15, Thursday 07:00-16:45
