Anderson Knight is supporting our client in their search for a People Development Advisor to join their team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This key role focuses on the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training and development programmes, with a special focus on the Early Careers Programme. This role is based in the office 4 days per week with 1 day per week working from home, there would be occasional travel to other locations within the region. There is a car allowance offered to compensate for travel, a driving licence is necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical training processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and ensure relevant training is delivered.
  • Support the delivery and ongoing improvement of learning & development programmes across the organisation.
  • Manage the Early Careers database, lead development events, and build relationships with education providers.
  • Coordinate and deliver monthly inductions for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Support the implementation of digital learning initiatives and manage the Learning Management System (LMS).

About You:

  • Previous experience in a training or L&D role, with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with training databases (e.g., COINS).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of early careers challenges and a passion for supporting talent development.
