Operations Executive / Administrator

Full time, permanent office-based role

Based in Hampton

Hours: 8.30am- 5pm Monday - Friday

Salary: 24.5K DOE plus benefits and bonus

We are recruiting an Operations Executive / Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-established and successful organisation based in Hampton. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the primary purpose of this role is to assist in managing operational suppliers, ensuring that all business requirements are met efficiently.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assist in managing operational suppliers, ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met, investigating customer concerns, and regularly reviewing processes.
  • Compile operational reports for both internal and external clients.
  • Regularly review supplier performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Organise and assist with regular review meetings with key suppliers to evaluate KPI metrics and ensure competitive terms.
  • Support the supplier tender process and help maintain supplier contracts.
  • Assist in collating management and client reports.
  • Maintain the fleet platform for daily hire operations.
  • Support the business development team in preparing tender bids.

Person specification

  • The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with strong administrative skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, with the confidence and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Knowledge of fleet management, the automotive industry, and related products is highly desirable.
  • Capable of evaluating situations, prioritising needs, considering constraints, and negotiating commercial terms effectively.
  • Performance- and results-driven, with a focus on achieving business goals.
  • Strong ability to interpret, manipulate, and analyse data using Excel.
  • Capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to solve problems.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible team player.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism.
  • A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • A good standard of education and/or relevant work experience.
