Job Description:
A primary SEND school in Hampton is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team and support in a complex needs class of nine pupils. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing behaviour and able to provide tailored support to children with a range of additional needs.

You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets each child's individual needs. Patience, empathy, and consistency are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs in their learning and daily routines

  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively and calmly

  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support when required

  • Encourage independence and social development

Requirements:
