Join my clients team at a well-established family-run business specializing in the sale of new and used commercial vehicles in the UK and for export.
Job Role:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles, Plant and Agricultural Machinery, and prepare MOTs for our fleet and resale vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace faulty components like engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and test drives to guarantee functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services.
- Adhere to safety protocols and uphold a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- HGV Driving Licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience as a mechanic.
- Profound understanding of Automotive systems and components.
- Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Attributes include honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
