Salary: From £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – Double Day Shift (06:00–14:00 & 14:00–22:00)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our production team in the Malvern area.Â
This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing equipment and processes. You will work across mechanical and electrical systems, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Undertake regular Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure ongoing reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance post-repair and ensure long-term operational stability.
- Record maintenance activities and spare parts usage using Infor EAM CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement and plant modification projects.
- Maintain high safety standards and proactively contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Communicate effectively with senior management on maintenance and performance issues.
About You
You’ll be a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. You’ll have a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and be able to balance attention to detail with quick, effective decision-making.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Completed multi-skilled apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Working knowledge of PLC hardware, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
Desirable:
- Experience in the tissue or paper industry.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
- 18th Edition qualification.
