Site Quantity Surveyor - Demolition
DCS currently require an experienced Site based Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic construction management team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex demolition projects within a professional environment.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 year's experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Proven experience with NEC4 contracts
- Demolition or heavy civil engineering experience preferred
- Strong commercial and site management capability
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management of site-based demolition projects
- Administration of NEC4 contracts
- Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations
- Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Assessment and management of compensation events and variations
- Subcontract procurement, valuation, and final account settlement
- Cost control, risk management, and value engineering
- Liaison with site teams, clients, and commercial stakeholders
