Senior Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear Decommissioning Project

Location: North Wales

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major nuclear decommissioning project. This role offers the opportunity to manage commercial and contractual activities across a technically complex environment, supporting safe, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.

  • Prepare applications for payment, valuations, cost forecasts, and reports.

  • Maintain registers of variations, delays, and claims.

  • Identify and manage contractual risks and opportunities.

  • Support procurement, tendering, and supply chain management.

  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate commercial experience in construction or infrastructure.

  • Strong contractual knowledge, ideally with NEC or similar forms.

  • Proven financial and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

  • Experience in nuclear decommissioning or highly regulated sectors is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (RICS/CICES accredited).

  • Chartered or working towards Chartership (RICS / CICES) preferred.
