Our client, a well-established organisation based in Harlow, is currently recruiting for a CIMA-qualified Management Accountant / Company Secretary to lead their finance operations. This is a senior-level, part-time position ideal for a finance professional seeking flexibility while making a strategic impact within a dynamic business.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

  • Provide insight on cost control, revenue optimisation, and business efficiency

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support key decisions

  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, including filing annual returns and financial statements

  • Act as Company Secretary and manage year-end audit processes

  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure adherence to company law and tax regulations

  • Provide financial guidance and reporting to senior management

Key Requirements:
  • Fully qualified with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Advanced Excel and strong financial software skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing is advantageous
