We are actively looking for dedicated and skilled HGV 2 Drivers to work for a top logistics company based in HARLOW, ESSEX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Job description
- HGV Class 2 Drivers
- Location - Harlow
- AM
- Rate - £21.67 an hour
- WEEKLY PAY !!
- PAYE Only
The Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture for about 10 different clients this includes installs the products can be weighty covering between 15 - 25 drops a day.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive primarily HGV Class 2 commercial vehicles.
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
- Possess a valid HGV C or CE driving licence with the appropriate cards such as CPC and Tacho Cards
- Proven experience of UK C* or CE* as a working truck driver
- Ability to load and offload furniture to and from vehicle safely
- Excellent driving record with no major endorsements and a maximum of 6 points.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, customer-oriented approach to your work.
