My client is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator.
They are based in Harlow, just off Edinburgh Way, close to Tesco.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm
Friday 8 am to 1 pm
14 to 16 per hour depending upon experience - this is negotiable as we are looking for the right person.
You will be hard working and have great attention to detail. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic are crucial.
You will be required to operate the CNC Laser Machine to begin the production process so previous experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and working from engineering drawings.
- Operating, setting and programming CNC laser machine.
- Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
- Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances.
- Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks such as visual checks or taking measurements.
- Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Laser Machine Operator.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible team player but also able to work on own initiative.
